Refund Policy

Digital International School (“DIS”) operates on a monthly subscription basis. This Refund Policy explains when refunds apply, how to cancel, and what happens to any unused portion of your subscription.
1. Monthly Billing
Enrolment fees are charged monthly in advance on the anniversary of your enrolment date. Each monthly payment covers full access to all live lessons, the DIS learning platform, instructor messaging, and the resource library for the duration of that billing period.
2. Refunds Within the Billing Period
Monthly fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun. This reflects the fixed costs of delivering live, scheduled lessons with qualified instructors.
Exceptions — a full or pro-rata refund will be issued where:
- DIS has been unable to deliver live lessons for more than five consecutive school days due to circumstances within DIS’s control
- A technical failure on DIS’s platform has prevented a student from accessing lessons for an extended period, and DIS has been notified promptly
- A duplicate payment has been processed in error
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to hello@dis.school within 14 days of the issue occurring.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your enrolment at any time. To cancel:
- Email hello@dis.school with the subject line “Cancellation Request”
- Include your child’s name and registered email address
- State the requested cancellation date
To avoid being charged for the following month, your cancellation request must be received at least 14 days before your next billing date. Cancellations received later than this will result in one final charge for the following billing period, after which no further charges will apply.
Access to the learning platform continues until the end of the final paid period.
4. Pro-Rata Credits
Where a cancellation takes effect mid-period and a refund is applicable under Section 2, we calculate the refundable amount on a pro-rata daily basis relative to the number of remaining school days in the billing period.
5. Free Trial
Where DIS offers a free trial lesson, this does not constitute a billing event. No payment is required for a trial lesson and no refund applies.
6. How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval. We will confirm by email once a refund has been issued.
