Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
These Terms of Service govern your enrolment with Digital International School (“DIS”). By enrolling a student or submitting payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you have questions before enrolling, contact us at hello@dis.school.
1. About DIS
Digital International School is a fully virtual school delivering Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level education via live online lessons. DIS is not a registered Cambridge examination centre. Students who wish to sit Cambridge examinations must register as private candidates at an approved local examination centre (such as the British Council UAE).
2. Enrolment
Enrolment is available at any time throughout the academic year. There are no fixed intake dates. Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of the first monthly payment. DIS reserves the right to decline enrolment where a student does not meet the minimum grade-level requirements for a chosen programme.
3. Fees and Payment
- Cambridge IGCSE: AED 500 per month — all subjects included
- Cambridge A-Level: AED 800 per month — all subjects included
Fees are billed monthly in advance. Payment is due on the same date each month as the initial enrolment date. DIS reserves the right to suspend access to the learning platform if payment is overdue by more than seven days.
Fees are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED). DIS does not guarantee exchange rates for non-AED payment methods.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your enrolment at any time by providing written notice to hello@dis.school at least 14 days before your next billing date. Cancellations received with less than 14 days’ notice will result in one final charge for the following month. Access to the platform continues until the end of the paid period.
5. Refunds
Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details. In summary: monthly fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun, except where DIS has been unable to deliver the agreed service.
6. Platform Access and Student Conduct
Upon enrolment, students receive access to the DIS learning platform for the purposes of attending live lessons, accessing resources, and communicating with instructors. Students are expected to:
- Attend live lessons punctually and with appropriate equipment (camera, microphone, stable internet)
- Treat instructors and fellow students with respect at all times
- Submit assignments and assessments honestly and without plagiarism
- Refrain from recording, sharing, or distributing any live lesson content without written consent from DIS
DIS reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for conduct that breaches these expectations, without refund.
7. Curriculum and Teaching
DIS delivers the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level curriculum through qualified instructors. Whilst every effort is made to ensure continuity of teaching, DIS reserves the right to substitute instructors where necessary due to illness, absence, or operational requirements. Lesson content follows Cambridge Assessment International Education syllabuses.
8. Examinations
DIS does not enter students for Cambridge examinations directly. Parents and students are responsible for registering as private candidates at an approved examination centre. DIS is happy to advise on this process but bears no responsibility for examination registration, fees, or outcomes.
9. Limitation of Liability
DIS’s liability to you is limited to the fees paid in the most recent billing period. DIS is not liable for any loss of examination grades, university admissions outcomes, or consequential losses arising from the use or inability to use our services.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be referred to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to the courts of Dubai, UAE.
11. Changes to These Terms
DIS may update these Terms from time to time. Enrolled families will be notified of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Contact
